I'm unsure how long I plan on posting here on DA..I was recently informed that my art is being used on an AI website and the ones being used are some of my pony art. this is frustrating on it's own, especially with the way that I cannot have them removed, but it all just reminds me something.. I come on here to look at other's lovely mlp work, something that I've loved since I was little and half of the pony art I see is AI and is even boosted. any REAL artists barely get the same attention they used to, I know I don't get the same traffic on my account despite my follower count and same with other accounts I follow, and I suspect this is because DA has become a complete cesspool. it's very upsetting that a website that I've loved going on ever since it launched supports something that actively harms real artists and I've just gotten sick of it. the AI art being boosted and the AI options littering the website like it's something super fun and exciting is insane. my pony art, which I've only posted on here, being used to train an AI is honestly the final straw. I definitely won't stop posting pony art, though. I'm way more active on my other platforms and post even more mlp art on my other accounts anyway. I absolutely love the community that I've accumulated on here despite this- I was a freshman in high school when I started this account where I was really struggling mentally and with my art, and the support I received was just so absolutely healing and comforting for me. this account was my first major social media following and the people I've met on here is something I'll cherish forever!! I'll never forget the pure and genuine love I have felt here for the past 7 years.
